Cannot open config file sys161.conf

I have configured and built my kernel, but now I am getting the above
error message.

I have moved to my OS161TOP/root directory and when I type

sys161 kernel

or

sys161 kernel-ASST2

I receive the error message:

Cannot open config file sys161.conf

Has anyone else had this problem, or any tips on how to fix it?

Thanks

Do you have such a file in your directory? =)
If yes - check permissions (highly unlikely), if still nothing then I
have no idea.
If no - I believe you need to compile the user-lvl stuff to get it, as
far I recall you just run make from the os161-1.11 folder

As per the other post, I think that file gets created
when you do the main configuration step and/or the make
in the main OS161 directory.

So before you compile the kernel you need to
run the other steps in the sequence of instructions.
